Cnc-ready means the machine is ready to bolt on stepper motors and apply cnc control them by of a system that user must supply. The holes are then tapped and new mount installed. The kits include drill blocks that are attached to appropriate table or bed using single existing hole and then two new holes drilled block as a guide go lathes mills pages for prices. The installation will involve drilling and tapping several holes to attach stepper motor mounts.

In the case of mill column and lathe lead screw, a new lead screw must also be installed. Complete instructions for the conversion are supplied with kits.
