I purchased this lathe as a manual and installed the drop but after some time I decided I wanted to try it as a cnc. Notice the closeup photo of the vertical milling column. The way is nicked.
I've made maybe 10 parts on it. Looks like it fell over onto something.
Also included are the vertical milling attachment, drop and cnc controller. I'm only using it for the rpm readout. This can be dressed out with a file and will work fine.
I ran the lathe minimally.
This is a Sherline 4410C metric lathe and the contents of the 'c' component package including threading tool, compound slide, live center, steady rest, a2z quick change tool post holders, drills, Jacob chuck, and others. I purchased and installed the Sherline cnc conversion kit and paired it with a mach 3 compatible hobby cnc pro 4 axis controller and hobby cnc steppers. I seem to have lost the manual lead screws so if you wanted to convert it back to manual you'll need to source those.
